SEMINAR ON SMART SENSORS : This report deals with the general architecture of smart sensors. Here we use silicon technology for the smart sensors. Smart sensors use some of the transduction properties, and some of the electronic properties of silicon. Smart sensors integrated with electronic sensors that can perform one or more of the functions of logic functions, two-way communication, decision-making processes. This report also pays attention to the importance and acceptance of smart sensors in addition to this an effort is to present the design consideration of smart sensor as per the functions performed. The discussion will conclude with some examples of smart sensors developed at different research organization .
