SEMINAR ON IMAX : The IMAX (Image Maximum) has its roots in Canada, where multi-screen movie hit of the fair. A small group of Canadian filmmakers Graeme Ferguson, Roman and Robert Kerr Kroitor decided to design a new system with a single powerful projector, rather than the cumbersome multiple projectors used at that time. The result is the IMAX film projection system that would revolutionize giant-screen cinema. IMAX offers just that on a screen with four times the size of conventional video screens.
