WLAN transmits and receives data through the air, minimizing the need for wired connections. Thus, WLANs combine data connectivity with user mobility and, through simplified configuration, enable wireless LAN.It use the medium access method CSMA/CA.It uses same frequency for transmitting and receiving.Wi-Fi alliance certifies products for WLAN's.
